The Thames Valley District School Board has several events planned to celebrate Education Week
The Thames Valley District School Board will be participating in Education Week with different events and celebrations at all schools within the board.
The theme this year can be summed up in three words - Inspire, Innovate, and Embrace.
Chair of the Education Committee Rena Princis says the idea is to celebrate public education and their theme represents a collective commitment to build each student's tomorrow every day.
The week long festivities get started today with a special ceremony at the Emily Stowe Public School in Norwich at 9:30 a.m.
Other events include an Art Festival, a Book Fair, Awards of Distinction and more.
