Victoria Day weekend in Woodstock is kicking off today, with Midway Fun and a Victoria Day Parade.
WOODSTOCK - Victoria Day Weekend is kicking off with the World’s Finest Shows Midway, at Southside Park.
Kristen Broadhagan, the Manager of Special Events with the City of Woodstock, says the midway will be opened all weekend until Monday, with a whole lot of food and fun
"Some of the rides we have on-site are the Ferris Wheel, Merry-go-round, Pharaoh's Fury, the Scrambler... Jumping Jumbos, Monkey Mayhem, the Whacky Shack, all the kid's favorites! We have lots of food too, so make sure you come hungry for Slush Puppies, French fries, hotdogs, candy floss, all the fair favorites."
The Victoria Day Parade will also kick off at 10 a.m. on Monday.
There will be marching bands, horses, floats, vintage cars, stilt walkers, clowns, and even fire jugglers and more later on.
In addition, the Parade Marshalls will feature Bohdan Zhuravel and Diana Kasianchuk from Ukraine.
Additional information can be found online here.
Kristen Broadhagan also stopped by the Heart FM studio on Thursday, May 19th to chat with Dan and Marcie about the Victoria Day Weekend and you can listen to the full interview below.
