The Woodstock Disc Golf Collective is working with the City to have quality of life improvements made to North Shore Park.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Disc Golf Collective is working with the city to make updates to North Shore Park.
The administrator, Peter Barette says with more people enjoying the game and the park, they're looking to make updates for everyone.
"This Monday, we had a contractor who donated his time and services, moving baskets and posts. They got moved to another location in the Park, out of the parking lot area. It'll help safety, improve playability, all that kind of stuff."
Barette says the City Council has granted them around $20,000 for this year in order to help update the course and address safety concerns.
