Police say two people distracted an elderly woman and stole her wallet yesterday.
PARIS - The Brant OPP is asking for the public's help identifying a couple of suspects in Paris.
Police say a man and a woman distracted an elderly woman so they could steal her wallet shortly after 12:00 p.m. yesterday. The theft took place at a business on Grand River Street North.
The incident was captured on security cameras, and police have released pictures of the man and the woman they're looking for.
Anyone with information should call the Brant OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
Brant OPP is investigating a distraction theft that occurred at a business on Grand River Street North in Paris. A male and female suspect targeted an elderly woman, stealing her wallet while she was shopping.
