Move comes as cases of COVID-19 continue to rise south of the border
Canadians will face continued restrictions at the border with the U.S.
The Biden administration announcing the current restrictions for non essential travel will continue past tomorrow's expiration date until at least September 21st.
The restrictions do not cover travel by air.
The White House has so far refused to ease the restrictions, despite Canada opening up its border to fully vaccinated Americans earlier this month.
The Biden Administration has blamed the current spike in COVID cases due to the delta variant for the decision.
