WOODSTOCK - Nobody was injured after a house fire on Thompson Street on Saturday night.
Firefighters were forced to attack the fire hidden inside the wall from the exterior of the house. They had to open up a brick wall to get water inside, as they couldn't go inside over fears of the floor collapsing. Most of the house was saved thanks to the hard and relentless work of City of Woodstock, Ontario firefighters.
Firefighters had to stay at the house overnight. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and we will update this page as soon as we get more information.
