A pair of charges have been laid against a Tillsonburg man. Oxford OPP responded to a call on Wednesday, August 30th on Ridout Street and made the arrest.
TILLSONBURG - A weapons related call leads to charges.
Oxford OPP received the report on Wednesday, August 30th at 10:45 a.m. about an individual on Ridout Street in Tillsonburg with a weapon.
When officers got to the scene, they found the suspect with an edged weapon. They were able to place the suspect under arrest.
As a result, 35-year-old James Cayford of Tillsonburg has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and carrying a concealed weapon.
He will attend Woodstock Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
