Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day in South-West Oxford and everyone is encouraged to get out, pay a compliment, buying a stranger a compliment or even just simply picking up litter.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day in South-West Oxford.
This is a social media campaign where everyone is encouraged to perform a random act of kindness today. With everything that has happened in 2020, the Township is looking to spread some positivity and put some smiles on faces to those in the community.
Performing a Random Act of Kindness can be as simple as paying someone a compliment, buying them a coffee or just being a good neighbour by picking up some litter.
South-West Oxford Township is known as one of the most beautiful spots in the world according to Mayor David Mayberry.
Now it wants to be known as the kindest. Mayberry says the day is a way to bring people back together that may have drifted apart during the pandemic.
Councillor Jim Pickard also shared this message about Random Acts of Kindness.
