ONTARIO - Toronto Fans who were planning to attend the Maple Leaf road games in Florida may find themselves shut out of ticket options.
The Panthers will be restricting ticket sales for Games 3 and 4 to American residents only.
It wasn't clear why the restriction was put in place, but a representative for the Maple Leafs says that they do have a significant fan base that travels for games, particularly in the Snowbird-heavy Sunshine State.
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 being held at Scotiabank Area were for sale to fans in both counties.
In light of the news, Maple Leafs Tailgates presented by Scotiabank, will be expanding to include a new viewing zone, allowing more fans to catch the excitement in Maple Leafs Square.
The extension will run along Bremner Boulevard from York Street to Lower Simcoe Street.
