UPDATE: Highway 401 westbound has since been re-opened since this mornings crash. Right now they have just two lanes operating and the third lane should be open within the hour. All three drivers from this mornings collision were taken to the hospital. They are suffering from serious but non life threatening injuries.
WOODSTOCK - Traffic in downtown Woodstock has been crazy all day thanks to a three vehicle crash on the 401.
The West bound lanes between Sweaburg Road and Foldens Line have been closed since early this morning. The crash involved at least one transport truck and few details are known at this time. The OPP twitter account did say their was injuries.

Traffic has been rerouted through Woodstock all morning and as a result Dundas Street has been backed up all day. Transport trucks have filled up Dundas street and it is been pretty hard to get around the city all morning.
No word at this time as to when they will re-open the highway. We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
