An 11 year old cyclist has died after a tragic collision in Elgin County last night.
MALAHIDE - A tragic scene in Elgin County last night after an 11 year old died while biking home on Carter Road.
OPP say the child was hit by a southbound vehicle at 9:10 p.m. just north of Highway 3. Malahide Fire Services along with St. Thomas Elgin Paramedics attended the scene of the collision.
The youth was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries and later succumbed to their injuries.
The OPP's technical collision investigators are on scene furthering the investigation.
Carter Road will remained closed between Highway Three and Glencolin Line till the completion of the investigation at the scene.
