Face painting, bouncy castles and a bbq will all be a part of this years Trail Walk and Run in Tillsonburg.
TILLSONBURG - Face painting, bouncy castles and a free bbq will all be a part of this years Trail Walk and Run in Tillsonburg.
Committee member Abby Malotte says the event is will take place on Sunday May 27th.
"There is a 2 Km or 5 Km route, depending on what you feel up for that day. Its on the Carrolle Trail which is here in Tillsonburg. We meet at Coronation Park and walk the trail."
The 2km route is a flat terrain while the 5km has some hills.
Malotte adds that the event is for an important cause.
"Its a fundraising event to help raise money for the Tilsonburg Multi-Service Centre, aswell as the Parkison's Society of Southwestern Ontario. The proceeds are split between the two organizations."
This years goal is to raise $10,000.
You can sign up for the event at the Multi-Service Centre website here. The cost is $30 if you pre-register. The cost is $35 on the day of.
Registration starts at 9am. The first 100 participants will receive a free t-shirt. The race gets under way at 10:30am till 12pm.
