Crews are hard at work repairing the Thames Street train tracks this week. Detours are in place and everyone should avoid the area.
INGERSOLL - Some detours are in place in Ingersoll.
This week crews are repairing the train tracks on Thames Street at the bridge to Victoria Street. The work is taking place until Friday, November 10th at 5:00 p.m., and there is no vehicle traffic through that area.
Detours have been set up for vehicles traveling north and southbound.
Northbound traffic is being redirected either down King Street West or Charles Street West to Ingersoll Street North and back to Thames Street North via Victoria Street. Meanwhile, southbound traffic is being redirected down Victoria Street to Ingersoll Street North, then back down to King Street West to Thames Street South.
Pedestrians are being asked to use Mutual Street to avoid the track repairs.
