Kids will be trick or treating out of specially decorated vehicles in the YMCA parking lot on October 29th.
WOODSTOCK - Kids will be able to go trunk or treating in Woodstock once again. The Woodstock YMCA will be hosting their 2nd annual Trunk or Treat event on Saturday October 29th from 1pm to 3pm.
Community Events Organizer Kimberly Allen tells Heart FM about the event.
"It's a safe environment for kids to come trick or treating instead of going door to door. We get together and somebody basically decorates their vehicle or their trunk per say and hand out treats to our little ones in the community."
Last year participants handed out candy to over 300 children.
Allen explains how people can register their vehicles.
"You can contact the YMCA or myself. We have a registration form and you just fill it all out and we're good to go!"
The YMCA is located at 808 Dundas Street in Woodstock and their phone number is 519-539-6181.
