The TVDSB school board plans to cut over 50 jobs in the coming months in a bid to save money.
OXFORD COUNTY - After slashing dozens of teaching positions last year, The Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) is cutting more jobs in an effort to save money.
TVDSB has indicated that 59 learning support services positions will be eliminated in June.
Officials say teachers who were working in those roles will have the opportunity for other jobs across the board including in classrooms.
Last years elimination of 33 teaching jobs was reported to save roughly two million dollars.
