The Thames Valley District School Board reported 14 cases of COVID-19 over the long weekend including one case at Algonquin Public School in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Someone at Algonquin Public School in Woodstock has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Thames Valley District School Board reported the case Saturday night. The school board reported 14 cases total between Thursday night and Sunday night:
- Masonville Public School (London)
- Glen Cairn Public School (London)
- Ashley Oaks Public School (London)
- McGillivray Central Public School (Ailsa Craig)
- Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School (London)
- Algonquin Public School (Woodstock)
- New Sarum Public School (St. Thomas) - two cases
- Medway Secondary School (Arva) - two cases
- North Middlesex District High School (Parkhill)
- Northridge Public School (London) - two cases
- Louise Arbour French Immersion Public School (London)
Contact tracing is underway and those who came into close contact with the infected individuals will be told to self-isolate for two weeks. If you don't receive a letter from the school board your child is not considered to be at risk.
