The TVDSB is currently reporting a total of 15 active cases of COVID-19 within the entire Wilberforce Public School community. All students will transition to online learning starting today.
LUCAN - The Thames Valley District School Board has decided to temporarily close Wilberforce Public School in Lucan.
It reported seven new cases of COVID-19 at the school over the weekend. Thames Valley is now reporting a total of 15 active cases within the Wilberforce community at this time.
The cases affect multiple classes and the school will be closed this week as a result. All students will take part in virtual learning starting today and teachers will be contacting families to provide more information.
Thames Valley is hoping to reopen the school to in-person learning on Monday November 8th.
