Trustee Jake Skinner will present the proposal at the meeting tonight. He tells Heart FM that it will be awhile before an actual decision is made.
"No final decision will be made tonight, a final decision will be made in June when we look at the final budget. So tonight will be an opportunity to come to the board of trustee's to ask questions about it, but their won't be any final decision."
Skinner says if these machines save just one life, they would be worth every penny.
"So I want to make sure all of our schools have AED's, it will cost about $300,000 to do that. We are behind other school boards that are similar to us in size and location and I am hoping we can fill this gap, if we can move and make that happen at our June meeting."
He also encourages people to email their local trustee's to let them know if this is something they want in their schools.
