Woodstock Police arrested a 24-year-old from London and 39-year-old from Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid in a case that involves drugs, weapons and threats.
Woodstock Police officers were called out to Vansittart Ave at around 1:00 a.m. on Friday, after hearing about an altercation at a home in the area. They were informed that two men had threatened someone with a firearm and a knife.
After further investigation, the officers arrested a 24-year-old from London and a 29-year-old from Woodstock. They also seized about $20,000 worth of fentanyl along with a knife, a scale and Canadian cash.
The London man was charged with uttering threats to cause death, pointing a firearm, and possession a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The Woodstock man was charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, and two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order. He was also charged failure to comply with probation.
