Upcoming Big Brothers Big Sisters Events in Oxford County

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County will be quite busy over the next few weeks with Play for Kids Sake and their first in-person Trivia Night since COVID began.

OXFORD COUNTY - It's going to be a busy few weeks for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.

Play for Kids Sake is coming up and they will have in-person bowling events in Woodstock and Ingersoll this year. The popular fundraiser will take over C&D Lanes on Wednesday March 9th, Friday March 22nd and Saturday March 12th. Ingersoll Lanes will host the fundraiser on Friday March 25th and Saturday March 26th.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County is also offering a virtual Murder Mystery this year, but Executive Director Kristen Ralph says you should sign up ASAP.

"I believe the Murder Mysteries are happening this weekend, so if you're interested in that you should get signed up right away. For the Murder Mystery, we do work with your schedule to make it work with you and your friends that want to take part."

The virtual Escape Room will also be happening this Saturday. You can find the registration information for all Play for Kids Sake events online here.

Time is also running out if you want to sign up for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County's first in-person trivia night since COVID began. It's happening at the Polish Hall in Woodstock on Friday March 4th. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the trivia will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Ralph says they will have a variety of different questions.

"We do our very best to make sure that there are trivia question for almost every subject and we also mix it up between easy, medium and hard questions."

They only have a few spots left for teams of six to eight people and you can sign up online here.
