Tennis courts, the skate park, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball fields and the outdoor fitness centres are closed in Brant County based on the new regulations from the Province.
BRANT COUNTY - The County of Brant has provided an updated list on what is open and what is closed based on the new Provincial restrictions.
Over the weekend, the Province did an about turn on some of the regulations allowing playgrounds and dog parks to remain open, even though many municipalities had already closed them off.
Effective Saturday April 17, the following recreational amenities are closed in Brant County:
- All outdoor sports facilities and multi-use fields including,
- Baseball diamonds,
- Soccer fields,
- Disc golf,
- Tennis and pickleball courts,
- Basketball courts, and
- Skate parks.
- Outdoor fitness equipment.
- Outdoor picnic sites and picnic tables in park and recreational areas.
The County is keeping the Simply Grand Dog Park open along with park benches, trails and playgrounds.
Anyone using the open amenities must physical distance by 2 metres unless you are are with someone in your immediate household or if you live along and have teamed up with one household.
