United Way Oxford will be hosting a Community United Conversation tomorrow night and it's going to shine a light on intimate partner violence.
OXFORD COUNTY - Intimate partner violence is the topic of discussion for United Way Oxford's upcoming Community United Conversation.
Your invited to join the about intimate partner violence this Tuesday, March, 1st at 7:00 p.m. virtually. With a large panel of experts on the issue, Executive Director Kelly Gilson says they will provide local services available for you to get help.
"These sessions are designed to give a high level awareness to create understanding of those unignorable issues to get community members to get thinking about some of the complexities."
She continued to explain what exactly to expect.
"If people have any concerns are they themselves or, a family member or, friend might need some support. We are going to be highlighting all of the great work that's happening and ways to get help, so people can take something away from this evening. I think they can grow in their understanding about some of these complex social needs and social issues facing our community and others."
