Theft from vehicles is on the rise in downtown Woodstock. Police say there have been several cases in the past week where wallets, cash, jackets and back packs have been taken out of vehicles. Police say for the most part, the cars were left unlocked. In one incident at 11 o'clock this morning, a red Chevy Colorado pick up truck was stolen from a downtown parking lot, and the owner had only left it for 15-minutes. Police remind residents to lock up their vehicles, and don't leave valuables in plain sight, especially during the holiday shopping season.
