TILLSONBURG - The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association will honour a 100-year-old veteran today.
Flying Officer Ken Raven will take to the skies in a Harvard this afternoon, the same aircraft he trained on 80 years ago.
He was a Spitfire pilot back in the day and he conducted photo reconnaissance during the final days of the air war over northwestern Europe back in 1945.
His plane will take off at Tillsonburg Regional Airport at 1:00 p.m. today, weather permitting.
