It was a ceremony filled with passion and emotion as the streets were lined to honour those that fought for freedom.
WOODSTOCK - Remembrance Day was celebrated in Woodstock with a wonderful ceremony.
The laying of wreathes, marches, and many other traditions were done to honour the veterans who fought for our freedom. Mayor, Jerry Acchione was overjoyed with the amount of people who came out to the ceremony.
"There is so much of pride for the City of Woodstock. It was great to see thousands of people here to have the same feelings of love and respect for everybody serving and those that have passed."
The ceremony got underway at 10:30 a.m. and lasted over an hour. During that time the streets stayed full and everybody showed their love with a round of applause for all that were involved in the parade. Not one person left before it was complete.
