Robin Schultz is retiring after dedicating 34 years to the Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
INGERSOLL - The Executive Director of the Alexandra Hospital Foundation is getting ready to retire.
It was announced on Friday that Robin Schultz will officially step down in late June.
She played a huge role in making the foundation what it is today, accepting the role 34 years ago. It was not a formalized entity when she first started and now it has it's own board and administrative office, separate from the hospital itself.
Schultz says serving the foundation has been the greatest honour of her professional life.
"Throughout my time with the foundation, I have had the privilege of working with dedicated board members, donors, volunteersm staff and healthcare partners who share a deep commitment to supporting compassionate, high-quality patient care. I believe that by working together, we have helped strengthen the hospital and improve lives of countless individuals in our communities, and I am proud of what we have achieved. While I am retiring from my role, my admiration for the foundation and belief in its mission will continue, and I will always be a strong supporter and advocate."
She is looking forward to spending more time with her family in her retirement years.
A job posting for her successor will be posted in the coming weeks.
