The Drumbo Lions Club is looking for volunteers to help with a local Habitat for Humanity build this summer.
DRUMBO - The Drumbo Lions Club is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a new duplex in Drumbo this summer.
The homes are going two families with strong local connections. Right now they are looking for volunteers to help with the build.
Specifically they are looking for:
- Framer (desperate need!)
- Certified GAF installer (shingles)
- Electrician
- Plumber
- Drywaller
- HVAC installer
- Kitchen Cabinets and Installer
- Paint and Painter
- Flooring and installer
- Siding, Soffit, Fascia, Eavestrough & Downspouts installer
- Retail suppliers for the materials and supplies needed
The Lions Club notes this project is an opportunity for our club and the village to come together and do some great community building.
They are asking for local contractors and retailers to partner on this as well. Whether it is through a discount or a donation. The build will generate a lot of media attention this summer and could also provide some good word of mouth promotion.
If you are interested or have questions please contact Nancy: habitatbuild.drumbo@gmail.com.
