VON Oxford's Adult Day Program is leaving a lasting impression on its clients.
OXFORD - VON Oxford's Adult Day Program is doing wonders for its clients, including one local woman.
Kelly Maloney is a Recreationist in the Adult Day Program at VON Oxford and she worked with Louise, a woman from Oxford, and the program improved Louise's quality of life.
"So she started coming to the program and our goal for her was to gain her independence, and how it's helped for her is it's provided structure and socialization. It's improved her independent thinking."
Louise's success story highlights the benefits of the local program and the recreational activities it provides.
It's something that has given Louise purpose in her life and made Maloney feel proud of her job.
"I look forward to going to work every single day because every day something, whether it's big or small, something really powerful happens in our program within the clients."
