Woodstock Police were called to the area of Dundas and Huron yesterday around noon with reports about a man carrying and displaying a weapon.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police arrested a 35 year old man downtown yesterday afternoon after responding to a call about a person with a weapon.
Police were called after witnesses reported a man carrying and displaying a weapon around noon in the area of Huron and Dundas.
Officers arrested the man downtown and charged him with the following:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to prohibition Order
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
