We're still under a heat warning and Environment Canada is also keeping an eye on a storm system that's moving east through the area.
OXFORD/BRANT - We're still under a heat warning in Oxford and Brant.
Environment Canada says we're in for daytime highs in the high 20s to low 30s over the next three days but it should feel closer to 40 with the humidity.
We'll have little relief from the heat when the sun goes down, with overnight lows close to 20 in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow night.
Make sure you drink lots of water and stay in a cool place whenever possible. Pregnant women, young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors have a greater risk of experiencing heat related illnesses.
Environment Canada is also tracking a storm system that's moving eastward through the area this morning. It could bring scattered thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 80km per hour and up to 40 milimetres of heavy rain in some areas.
The special weather statement has been called off for Oxford County, but it remains in effect for Brant County.
UPDATE: Environment Canada has called off the special weather statement for Brant County.
