A weekend snow storm brewing south of the border could miss Oxford County, but it is too early to tell right now.
OXFORD COUNTY - It's too early to tell if Woodstock is going to get hit with a massive storm this weekend.
Meteorologist with Environment Canada Peter Kimbrell says a storm is brewing for Saturday.
"The worst will probably be to the South over near Pennsylvania and New York, so if you are heading south and crossing the US border this weekend, try to avoid that because their will be a lot of snow south of the border. I would recommend avoiding heading to the States this weekend."
Kimbrell says we don't know if that storm will make it's way into Woodstock.
"It is possible that we may get off somewhat unscathed, getting somewhere between 5 to 10 cm of blowing snow, but it could also be worse than that, it is just too early to be certain how bad it is going to be."
Kimbrell says temperatures will also take another dip this weekend with highs of minus 11 on Sunday.
