It appears as though Elizabeth Wettlaufer will be entering a guilty plea at her court appearance in Woodstock on Thursday.
WOODSTOCK - The Canadian Press is reporting that the woman accused of killing 8 seniors in Woodstock and London will plead guilty on Thursday in Woodstock
Elizabeth Wettlaufer is accused of killing 8 people at two nursing homes she worked at in London and Woodstock. If convicted she would be Canada's first documented health care serial killer. 7 of the deaths were in Woodstock at the local Caressant Care. Wettlaufer is also facing four additional charges of attempted murder and 2 for aggravated assault.
At her last appearance two weeks ago the court was told the Crown and the Defence had been going over case management files and they requested Wettlaufer to come back to court in person on Thursday. It is expected that she will be entering a guilty plea at this hearing.
Heart FM will have a reporter at the hearing tomorrow morning and we will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
