Police, fire and EMS will be in the Woodstock Foodland parking lot from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.
WOODSTOCK - It is Emergency Preparedness Week in Woodstock.
The Woodstock Fire Department is doing its part in helping educate residents on what you need if an emergency happens. Public Information Coordinator, Lisa Woods says they have a special event happening tomorrow.
"We have an Emergency Preparedness Day down at the Foodland parking lot. I believe this is our third year in a row. We're going to have quite a few vendors, anybody that you would see during the major emergency."
You will be able to see fire trucks, police cruisers, and other emergency vehicles from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Woods says it will be a busy place.
"You're going to see all kinds of things. It's really fun. We have lots of things to give away and educating the parents to make sure you have that 72-hour kit in your house ready to go."
The kit should have supplies to support yourself and your family for at least three days, and have to tools to be prepared to cope without electricity, heat, water or have to evacuate.
