Wienerfest raised over $3,000 in Embro on Sunday for the Tiny Paws Dog Rescue.
EMBRO - Over 300 Wiener dogs took over the Embro Fairgrounds for WienerFest 2017.
It was a dog lovers paradise in Embro on Sunday as hundreds came out for the annual event. Co-organizer of Wienerfest Helen Nairn tells Heart FM they had plenty of fun events for the dogs.
"We had vendors that handled everything for your dog, we had special guest come that do agility demonstrations, we had lure courses, the Wiener races, yogurt licking and bobbing for Wiener, there was all kinds of stuff for the dogs to do on Sunday in Embro."
This years event raised over $3,000 for the Tiny Paws Dog Rescue. Tiny Paws Dog Rescue Canada is a registered charitable organization comprised of volunteers who are working to fill a much needed niche in the rescue community - that of rescuing stray or surrendered small mixed breed and purebred dogs.
