The Wienerfest Home County Festival will takeover the Woodstock Fairgrounds on Saturday June 25th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WOODSTOCK - The Wienerfest Home County Festival is back after a long hiatus.
The event will be held at the Woodstock Fairgrounds this year, rain or shine on Saturday, June 25th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Organizer Linda Sonnenburg says there will be lots to do for humans and their furry friends.
"We will have over 100 vendors, anything you need to know about your pets will be there. We have a yogurt licking contest, costume contest, trick contest, races, and of course bobbing for wieners."
Entrance is by donation only and the money will be going to the Tiny Paws Dog Rescue.
Sonnenburg says they're still looking for some extra hands to help out.
"We really need volunteers. So on the Friday we're setting up and on the Saturday, any business who wants to come out and just put a tent up with the name of their business to provide shade we would gladly appreciate that."
