Wienerfest takes over the Woodstock Fair Grounds this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - Canada's biggest single breed event is returning to Woodstock.
Wienerfest happens this Saturday at the Woodstock Fair Grounds and there is sure to be cuteness all around.
The event will have over 140 vendors with over 1000 Dachshunds confirmed to be attending.
Wienerfest Organizer, Linda Sonnenburg called in to the Heart FM Morning show to talk about some of the events going on.
"There's nail trimming, run spot run is going to be there We've got the wiener races, bobbing for wieners, the yogurt licking contest. We have a wiener trick show and since it's national kissing day we have a wiener kissing booth. We are only one of four stops that Iams is doing through Ontario this year. They have a wellness come learn about your pets and they've got a mobile centre they'll do grooming and all that for your dogs."
Wienerfest will also being featuring a special guest, Cruesoe the celebrity wiener dog.
