Driving might get tough as snow is in the forecast. Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County will be seeing some winter weather.
Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for the area because of the coming storm.
Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Gerald Cheng speaks to what could be expected.
"Tonight, it will be quite dicey because we are talking about the snow moving into the area. This is heavy snowfall, even though you are only getting 5 to 10 centimetres of snow."
Cheng says 2 to 5 centimetres of snow could fall an hour, which would cause a drastic change in driving conditions.
He adds that Oxford County will see the weather change.
"As we head into the overnight, that's actually when temperatures are going to warm up and the snow will transition to rain during the overnight."
Cheng mentions the system will start to slow down during the day tomorrow.
