Winter Weather Travel Advisory Issued for Oxford

Environment Canada says we could be in for another 4 to 8 centimetres of snow today.

OXFORD COUNTY - The snowfall warning has ended, but a winter weather travel advisory is now in effect for Oxford County.

Environment Canada says we could see another 4 to 8 centimetres of snow by the time it ends this evening.

The roads could be snow covered in some areas so make sure you drive carefully this morning. We could also be in for some blowing snow today, which could make it hard to see at times.

Southwestern Ontario Student Transportation Services has cancelled all of the school buses for Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex this morning. This will affect students within the TVDSB and LDCSB.

Francobus has also cancelled all of the buses for Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys and Notre Dame in Woodstock. Both of those schools will be closed today but the daycare will be open.

All schools within the LDCSB will be open today. All TVDSB schools affected by the bus cancellations will be closed today and you can read more about that policy online here.
