Hazardous winter conditions are expected this morning prompting school closures in Oxford county.
OXFORD / BRANT - All school purpose vehicles are cancelled for the day in Oxford County as we are bracing for a good dose of winter weather. All Thames Valley District schools are closed for the day as well.
Brant County is under a winter storm warning, while Oxford County is under a freezing rain warning.
A combination of up to 25 centimetres of snow in some areas with ice pellets and freezing rain is expected over the next 48 hours.
Despite salt trucks trying to get out ahead of the storm, highways and roads may be slippery, drivers should be cautious today.
