Local charities have until December 15th to submit an application to become the WITAAR Charity of Choice for 2024.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors is bringing back a campaign.
President Anthony Montanaro says they will be hosting the Charity of Choice, where an Oxford County charity will be supported for the year.
"This will be the seventh year since we began selecting a Charity of Choice to help drive our fundraising activities and donations to make them more impactful.
Any charity that is interested in applying has until December 15th, and Montanaro says a decision will be made in the early part of 2024.
"The committee is looking for charities that impact Oxford County, what they provide to our communities here in Oxford."
The charity chosen will be nominated for our Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation’s grant.
Realtors participate in the Every REALTOR campaign; where WITAAR donates $1 per member, per-month, which is collected through their monthly assessment fees and is donated to the Foundation.
Additional funds donated from WITAAR are raised through their annual events throughout the year.
