Police say damage is estimated at nearly $50,000.
WOODSTOCK - A police investigation revealed an 83 year old woman from Woodstock was in the parking lot of a plaza at Springbank Avenue and Dundas when she accelerated and drove through the front window of First Choice Hair Cutters in Woodstock.
Oxford EMS responded to the collision and treated the driver for minor injuries; no other people were injured as a result of the crash. Police are continuing to investigate and estimate damages at $50,000.
No charges have been laid.
The crash unfolded at 2 p.m. yesterday at the First Choice Hair Cutters on Springbank and Dundas.
