Evan Marsh of Woodstock is featured in the film The Journey is the Destination, which is premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.
WOODSTOCK - A young actor from Woodstock is starting to make waves in Hollywood.
Evan Marsh has a couple of TV roles coming up with a part in Murdoch Mysteries and a show on YTV coming up in November called The Stanley Dynamic. Marsh also has a film that will be playing at the Toronto International Film Festival titled The Journey is the Destination. He tells Heart FM he got his start acting with CAST in Woodstock.
"I'd like to throw out a big thanks to Jen and Jason Paquette who just recently wrapped there final show Into the Woods with the CAST theatre company because they kind of gave me my first taste into acting and it was very clear for me at least that it was what I wanted to do and what I wanted to pursue so I am very thankful for them. I also have to thank my wonder parents Patty and Doug Marsh for never letting me wonder if it was the right choice for what I wanted to do because they always believed there is no time for plan B because it just distracts from plan A."
Marsh says he loves getting dramatic roles and also loves to do comedy. He tells us more about his upcoming role on Murdoch Mysteries.
"It's a one episode gig, I'm playing the younger version of Inspector Brackenreid, he is Thomas Craig's character and that should be a lot of fun because it is one of my bigger roles as far as TV goes."
Marsh says he loves working on TV; however film is his first passion. He has also landed gigs on American Gothic and Heroes Reborn.
