Woodstock events will not have bring your own booze.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has made a decision regarding bring-your-own event permits.
Provincial legislation was changed recently to expand eligibility, which would require approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission and a confirmation letter from the municipality.
During their meeting yesterday, Council discussed the possibility of participation.
They ultimately decided that at this time, they will not issue designation letters for community or cultural events for the purpose of BYOB permits.
