Woodstock Fair Returns this Weekend

It will have all of your favourites including the demo derby, the contests, the 4H showings and of course the midway.

WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Agricultural Society is celebrating its 190th anniversary this year!

With that being said, the Woodstock Fair is going to be completely revamped with live music, fun contests, and a partnership with Rib Fest.

General Manager Sandra Brown would like to thank everyone for the support.

"I want to make sure we thank the sponsors. This year we worked really hard and we've had a lot of community sponsors come out and support us in different ways.  We have somebody coming to do drone footage this year so that we have official promotional videos."

The Agricultural Society had partnered with Campbell's Amusements for the midway in previous years, but was unable to have a midway in 2025. The midway will be back this year, but under a new partnership with All Canadian Entertainment (ACE) Midway.

The lineup for this year's fair also includes the popular demo derby, tractor pull, 4H showings, exhibits in the auditorium and more! They will also have lots of vendors on site and some food trucks as well.

Fair Coordinator Karen Trick is also excited for the opening ceremony celebration.

"Official opening ceremony is at Friday at six o'clock. We are going to have the colour guard march us in, we will do a parade, we have the local mayors coming, we have Ernie Hardeman coming, a variety of speeches that are going to be happening so a little something for everyone."

Admission to the fair is free and you can find more information online here.

Sandra Brown and Karen Trick stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday, August 12th. You can listen to the full interview below:
