WOODSTOCK - The November Grand Prize for the Woodstock Hospital Foundation hit a new record.
Today, the foundation was thrilled to present Shawn Williamson with a cheque for $78,390.
Since the Hospital started doing the 50/50 draws, they have raised over $400,000. All of the money raised from these draws goes towards supporting equipment needs in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Thus far, the Hospital Foundation has been able to purchase a general x-ray machine and fluoroscopy machine. Now they will focus new funds towards purchasing a new general ultrasounds machine and echocardiography machine.
