INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP have arrested a 31-year-old Woodstock man for several drug and weapon-related charges.
On the afternoon of the 15th, police responded to a suspicious person complaint on Thames Street in Ingersoll.
When they arrived at the business the man tried to run away but was quickly stopped and arrested.
The suspect is in custody waiting for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
He has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, theft under 5-grand, and resisting a peace officer. He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and psilocybin.
