A report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a live lane of traffic resulted in impaired charges for one Woodstock man.
PERTH - A Woodstock man will be walking for a while after being charged with care and control while impaired.
Perth OPP received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Monday June 13 just after 4:30 p.m. According to the report, a Mini Cooper was parked in a live lane of traffic on Road 120.
Officers found the car parked on Road 125 North of Saint Marys and spoke with the man sitting in the driver's seat. During their conversation the officer believed the man was showing signs of intoxication. The man was taken to the Exeter OPP Detachment where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
The 34 year old man was charged with care and control while impaired and care and control over 80 mgs. His licence has been suspended for 90 days and his car impounded for 7. He will answer to the charges at a Stratford court in July.
