Woodstock Mayor Trevor Birtch will be running for re-election this fall.
WOODSTOCK - Mayor Trevor Birtch is running for re-election.
Birtch would like to continue the work of this term's city council, adding he is proud of their accomplishments in making the community better for the future.
He would also like to keep spreading the leadership outside of Woodstock's borders.
"We have been very successful in talking abroad. Showing leadership not just in the province, but internationally as well."
Birtch says his work with the county prior to be elected in 2014 has helped him.
"I worked at the county of Oxford in the finance department helping do some of the analysis and budgets and grant applications. So I'm very familiar with all of our 21 water systems here in Oxford County and how all of our reserve funds work."
Woodstonians will head to the polls on October 22nd.
