It was a year of dedication and keeping the community safe for the Woodstock Police Service.
WOODSTOCK - It was a busy 2025 for the Woodstock Police Service.
Over the span of 12 months, officers responded to 23,264 calls for service, logged 782 hours of foot patrol in the downtown core, and made 1,354 arrests. Last year also saw officers lay 1,507 criminal charges, 87 impaired driving charges, and 90 drug-related (CDSA) charges.
That wasn't all, as the Woodstock Police Service handed out 1,339 Highway Traffic Act charges, 253 other Provincial Offence charges, and issued 266 by-law and parking tickets. Officers also had to respond to 42 overdose incidents, but were able to recover 38 stolen vehicles.
The Police Service is sending out a thank you to all members for their professionalism and dedication, along with the community for their trust and support.
