A 29-year-old man is facing drug charges after he was arrested on Caen Ave on Sunday. A woman was also charged in a stolen vehicle investigation on Friday.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police officers were able to track down a stolen car over the long weekend.
Officers spotted the silver Hyundai Elantra on Bruin Boulevard at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, just hours after it was reported stolen earlier in the day. Police say the vehicle took off after the driver spotted the officers, nearly hitting one of them in the process.
The officers were eventually able to track down the car and the driver was arrested after a foot pursuit.
The 40-year-old woman has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and flight from a police officer.

WOODSTOCK - A 29-year-old man is facing a list of charges after Woodstock Police found him slouching over an ATV on Caen Ave.
Woodstock Police got the call at around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday. Once the officers arrived on scene, they discovered that the man was also carrying drugs.
The man has been charged with possession of an opioid for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. On top of all of this, he has also been charged with operation while impaired by drugs and alcohol and operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
